Flowers Hospital Commemorates Doctors’ Day with Donations to Local Organizations

In honor of its medical staff members on National Doctors Day, Flowers Hospital donated $3,000 to local non-profit organizations. This year marks the second year the hospital has chosen to honor its medical staff by giving back to the local community.

“We are proud to honor the dedication and positive impact our physicians have on our community, and we believe these donations will help extend that positive impact through the hard work of these organizations,” said Jeff Brannon, CEO of Flowers Hospital.

Six organizations were chosen by the hospital’s medical executive committee to each receive a $500 donation. This year’s recipient organizations were Alabama Children’s Homes and Family Ministries, Dothan Rescue Mission, Exchange Center for Child Abuse Prevention, Girls, Inc., Wiregrass Hope Group and Wiregrass Children’s Home.
