Flowers Hospital Welcomes Phillip Childree as Chief Financial Officer

Flowers Hospital is proud to welcome Phillip Childree back to the Wiregrass area as its chief financial officer beginning in September 2021. Childree served as the hospital’s distribution coordinator from 1999 to 2005 and has since worked in leadership roles at hospitals around the country.

“Phillip is experienced in many different areas of financial management in healthcare facilities, and his familiarity with our hospital and culture make him the perfect fit for our team,” said Jeff Brannon, chief executive officer.

Childree has more than 22 years of experience in healthcare administration and most recently worked as chief financial officer at Kershaw Health in Camden, SC. He has also worked at hospitals in Tennessee, Illinois, Arkansas and Arizona in financial and compliance positions. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting and management, from Troy University in Troy, AL.
