Flowers Hospital Prepares for the Impact of Hurricane Irma
9/8/2017
Dothan, Ala. (September 8, 2017) - As Hurricane Irma moves toward our area, Flowers Hospital has undergone preparations to continue operations throughout significant weather and to keep our patients and staff safe. Our hospital, along with our skilled physicians, nurses and employees, is equipped to continue caring for patients in our facility, as well as those who may come to our emergency department. Our staff has also prepared to care for the potential increase in the number of patients due to the influx of storm evacuees staying in our area.
We remain in contact with our area’s emergency management agency as well as our first responders and disaster response team and will continue to communicate with them closely during this weather event. Throughout any significant weather, we will keep our patients, their families and our staff updated regularly about any related developments.
