Flowers Hospital Names Weston Baxley 2021 Employee of the Year

Flowers Hospital is pleased to announce Weston Baxley has been named its 2021 Employee of the Year. Baxley is a certified respiratory therapist in the hospital’s Respiratory Care department and has been employed with Flowers Hospital since 2005.
Flowers Hospital Director of Respiratory Care Jackie Skerlick said, “Weston exudes compassion in all that he does. His positive and caring attitude is reflected in his interactions with patients, family members, and staff. His smile and laugh have often been a light during many difficult situations, and we are truly blessed to have him as part of the Flowers team.”
Jeff Brannon, Flowers Hospital chief executive officer, echoed Skerlick’s statements and said, “Weston’s desire to serve and care for others has shined, despite the challenges he and others in the healthcare industry have faced this year. He is well deserving of this honor, and our hospital is fortunate to have him.”
Baxley was among 120 employees recognized throughout the year for excelling in various standards of performance and was chosen by his peers as Employee of the Year out of 10 other finalists in the award program. The 10 finalists in the program include:
