Flowers Hospital Names Anna Reeves New Director of Education

Flowers Hospital has announced Anna Reeves, RN, BSN, as its new director of education. Reeves replaces Marilyn McKissack, former director of education, upon her retirement. Reeves will be responsible for the ongoing education and training for the hospital’s clinical employees as well as work with the hospital’s executive team members to ensure standards, policies and procedures are effective, efficient and meeting national standards.
“Anna is a valuable part of the Flowers Hospital team and has proven to be knowledgeable of both new and ongoing training and educational needs. We are confident she will find new ways to help our staff become even more effective and efficient than they are now, as well as bring the necessary training to our staff to ensure they are able to continue to provide wonderful care to our patients,” said Dan Cumbie, Flowers Hospital’s chief nursing officer.
Originally from Andalusia, Ala., Reeves joined Flowers Hospital in 2011 and served as a registered nurse, quality review clinician and assistant director of one of Flowers Hospital’s patient care floors before being promoted to director of education.
