Flowers Hospital Holds Food Drive for Wiregrass Area Food Bank
11/10/2017
Dothan, Ala. (November 10, 2017)— Flowers Hospital is holding a food drive November 12 through 18 benefiting the Wiregrass Area Food Bank. Donations of canned food or other nonperishable food items, along with paper goods, can be dropped off in the designated boxes in the Flowers Hospital lobby.
“With the holiday season approaching, the food bank will have an increased need for donations and supplies, and we are excited to support the food bank as they prepare to serve our local friends and neighbors in need,” said Emily Darnell, Flowers Hospital director of marketing. “We’re also having fun with this food drive by creating a little friendly ‘Iron Bowl’ competition to see if our Auburn or Alabama box will collect the most amount of food or other donations. You can drop off a donation in your favorite team’s box in the hospital lobby until November 18.”
