Flowers Hospital Announces Addition of Matt Blevins as Chief Operating Officer

Flowers Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Blevins as its new chief operating officer. Blevins joins Flowers Hospital with more than 20 years of healthcare administration experience and most recently served as chief executive officer at Barstow Community Hospital in Barstow, Calif. He has served in other executive leadership positions, including chief executive officer and chief operating officer, at various hospitals around the country and has also provided legal consulting services for healthcare systems.

Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Blevins holds a master’s degree in health administration from Saint Louis University School of Public Health, a juris doctor degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Saint Louis University School of Allied Health Professions. Blevins is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
