Flowers Hospital Announces New Director of Marketing

Flowers Hospital is proud to welcome Emily Darnell as its new Director of Marketing. In this role, Darnell will oversee the marketing efforts of Flowers Hospital and Flowers Medical Group while working with the administration team to establish effective strategies to facilitate growth to the hospital and its partner physicians. She will also work to maintain strong partnerships in surrounding communities to ensure area residents are familiar with the wide range of healthcare services the hospital offers.
Darnell joins Flowers Hospital with more than 10 years of marketing and public relations experience and previously served as marketing manager at Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union.
“Emily’s experience in strategic marketing and leadership will prove to be valuable as our hospital continues to expand and be a vital part of our surrounding communities,” said Suzanne Woods, Flowers Hospital CEO. “Her experience in marketing translates well into the healthcare industry as she brings proven strategies for growth to our organization.”
A native of Dothan, Darnell is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations. She and her husband, Matthew, have two sons and enjoy traveling and outdoor activities.
