In recognition of National Doctors’ Day, Flowers Hospital donated $6,000 to local non-profit organizations in recognition of its medical staff. This year marks the third year the hospital has chosen to honor its medical staff by giving back to the local community.
“We are proud to honor the service and dedication of our physicians and the positive impact they have on our community,” said Jeff Brannon, Flowers Hospital chief executive officer. “We believe these donations will help extend that positive impact through the work of these organizations.”
Six organizations were chosen by the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee to each receive a $1,000 donation. This year’s recipient organizations were Alabama Children’s Homes and Family Ministries, City Hope, Exchange Center for Child Abuse Prevention, House of Ruth, Living Waters Counseling, and Time Youth Dothan.
